Collider
Steel, fabric, microcontroller, custom electronics and software; 72” x
72” x 18”
Collider takes its inspiration from the idea of a particle accelerator.
The form
of Collider is a wireframe torus divided into 24 segments.
Each segment
contains 2 lights – red and yellow. These lights are programmatically
controlled through custom electronic circuits and a microcontroller running
custom software.
Collider was included in the Collision
Collective's C11 exhibit at the MIT Stata
Center Balcony Gallery, Apr 20 - May 1, 2007 as part
of the Boston Cyberarts
Festival.

Hand/Held
3 minute digital video
Included in XTEND:
Dance for Camera • Curated by: Martin Franklin
South Hill Park, Bracknell UK • Feb. 5 - Mar. 18 2007
Hand/held is a visual exploration along the surface of a body moving in
space. The mass of the body draws the camera along; it accelerates, twists,
then turns back on itself in an attempt to maintain focus and orientation,
with the play of movement describing an elastic tension between them.
